  • Specializes in representing HBCU’s like Alabama A&M University, where from 1999 to 2009 worked to build its Research Institute, helping to secure federal infrastructure and programmatic support of $12.75 million for the Institute, which was then leveraged to generate up to $32 million annually in grants and contracts for the Research Institute while providing excellent research and internship, and employment opportunities for its students.

A native of eastern North Carolina, Ron earned his bachelor degree in Finance at The University of North Carolina at Wilmington and an MBA degree from Virginia Tech University.
